OP WAY

This is an original painting by Carolyn Lehl of Johnson-Bell Arts. It was done in acrylic on a 9” x 12” canvas panel.

It’s based on a photo taken by the artist on one of her walks around the neighborhood, in this case, just two blocks from her home. It depicts a white crust of snow clinging to a stop sign against the backdrop of bright blue sky.

Says Carolyn, “I got a kick out of how it says ‘OP’ instead of ‘STOP’, and the play of light and shadow from the newly risen sun on a chilly winter’s morn. I knew I HAD to paint it.”

It is hand-signed by the artist.
