This is an original painting by Carolyn Lehl of Johnson-Bell Arts. It was done in acrylic on a

12” x 12” stretched canvas.

It is based on a photo taken by the artist of the view of the sky from her backyard.  It depicts the reds and bronzes of the autumn leaves of the Oak and Maple trees in her backyard set

against a backdrop of the setting sun.

“I love the drama of clouds affected by the setting sun as they take on the pinks, oranges, and reds of the day’s last light,” Says Carolyn,

”I frequently leave my dinner cooking on the stove in order to rush out and capture it before I lose the magic of the moment! This is just one of such fleeting moments.”

It is hand-signed by the artist.
